March:
The theme is Fast and light
When:
Saturday the 16th -17th (Confirmed
reservation paid)
Where:
Deer Lake
Campsite:
Hermit Area Back Country Campsite. We will have to backpack
into this site
Food Arrangements: You are on your own or you can partner up
with someone your choice
The Plan: Meet at the Deer Lake parking lot near point cabin
mid morning on Saturday the 16th. Backpack to the
Hermit Area Tent site by way of a trail. Set up camp spend
the night and Hike back to the parking lot Sunday morning.
The cost of the Campout will be determined by the number of
people that sign up. Troop 10 has paid $35.00 for this
campout and that cost will be recovered by assessing a small
fee to those that sign up go.
April 19 -21, 2013
April:
The theme is Who can catch the biggest trout!! Or tell the
best story about the one that got away
When:
Friday 19th-21st (Confirmed
reservation paid)
Where:
Camp Sequassen
Campsite:
Royal wood campsite: Royal wood has a combination of tent
and lean to sites
Food Arrangements: Saturday Breakfast and lunch you are on
your own. Saturday night Group Dinner menu TBD. Sunday
Breakfast you are on your own
Special Note: There is a strong possibility that Troop 10
may take out the canoes so bring your canoeing gear i.e.
PFD, Splash wear, etc
The Plan: Arrive at Sequassen Friday night at your leisure
The cost of the Campout will be determined by the number of
people that sign up. Troop 10 has paid $35.00 for this
campout and that cost will be recovered by assessing a small
fee to those that sign up go.
May 17-19, 2013
May:
Theme is Canoeing, Hiking, relaxing and laughing
When:
Friday 17th-19 (Confirmed reservation and
paid)
Where:
Cockaponset State Forest
Campsite:
Site A (we have camped here before this is the site with the
beach)
Food Arrangements: Saturday Breakfast and lunch you are on
your own. Saturday night Group Dinner menu TBD. Sunday
Breakfast you are on your own
Special Note: Troop 10 will be bringing our canoes so bring
your canoeing gear i.e. PFD, Splash wear, etc
The Plan: Arrive at Site “A” Friday night at your leisure
The cost of the Campout will be determined by the number of
people that sign up. Troop 10 has paid $33.00 for this
campout and that cost will be recovered by assessing a small
fee to those that sign up go.
June 7-9, 2013
June:
Theme is Canoeing the Farmington or fishing the Farmington
your choice
When:
Friday 7th-9th (Pending Confirmed
reservation)
Where:
American Legion State Forest
Campsite:
Site #2 (We have camped in this area before)
Food Arrangements: Saturday Breakfast and lunch you are on
your own. Saturday night Group Dinner menu TBD. Sunday
